What You Need to Know

About Family Medicine

Family medicine services are designed to provide comprehensive healthcare for both children and adults. A family physician consults on acute and chronic health conditions, performs diagnostics, orders necessary tests, and develops an individual treatment or monitoring plan. Consultations are also provided on disease prevention, vaccination, and healthy lifestyle issues.

Registration

Family Physician Consultation (Monday–Friday)

Weekday family physician consultations are intended to assess the health of you and your family members, diagnose conditions, and create an individual treatment plan. During the consultation, the physician evaluates the patient’s complaints, orders necessary tests, prescribes medications, and provides recommendations on disease prevention, vaccinations, and a healthy lifestyle.

Family Physician Consultation (Saturday–Sunday)

Weekend family physician consultations are intended for health assessment when medical assistance is needed outside regular working days. During the consultation, the patient’s complaints are evaluated, diagnostics are performed, necessary tests are ordered, prescriptions are issued, and individual treatment recommendations are provided.

CRP and CBC Tests

CRP (C-reactive protein) and CBC (complete blood count) tests help assess overall health and inflammatory processes in the body. These tests are commonly ordered for various health complaints, disease diagnosis, or monitoring the progress of treatment. Test results help the physician evaluate the patient’s condition and plan further examinations or treatment.

Blood Tests

Blood tests help assess the overall condition of the body and identify possible health disorders. Upon a physician’s referral, preventive or diagnostic blood tests are performed based on the patient’s health condition and symptoms. The results help evaluate the patient’s condition and plan further treatment.

Intravenous Therapy

Intravenous therapy is used to support the body’s condition and administer necessary substances intravenously according to a physician’s prescription. The therapy may be prescribed in cases of fatigue, weakened immunity, neurological, or other health conditions. Procedures are performed in a treatment room under specialist supervision.

Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy is a treatment method in which a small amount of the patient’s blood is enriched with medical ozone and infused intravenously. The procedure is performed using autohemotherapy and may be prescribed by a physician for chronic inflammatory conditions, joint or muscle pain, certain skin problems, wound healing, or general weakness of the body. The therapy is carried out under medical supervision in accordance with medical standards.
